Sint-Pietersinstituut earns ArbNet accreditation — the first school in Europe to do so
Sint-Pietersinstituut (Turnhout, Belgium) has achieved something truly remarkable — it is the first school in Europe to receive ArbNet accreditation.
With the help of Plantsoon, the school documented and tagged every plant on its playground, creating a living arboretum where students, teachers, and visitors can scan each plant and learn about its background.
Encouraged by their growing plant collection and the educational value it brought, the school applied for ArbNet level 1 accreditation — and successfully met all requirements. Their commitment to biodiversity and education now serves as an inspiring example for others.
